Delta sucks

I’ll make this brief (GRIN) but my lastest flight was through Delta airlines and I can’t express the level of ridiculousness with the entire experience regarding my travel to and from Minneapolis:

DEPARTURE FLIGHT

Why does it take over ten hours to travel to a destination that even with a connecting flight should take no more than four hours?! Oh, that’s easy: we’ll just have you leave from SFO @10pm into Atlanta on the way to Minneapolis. And for your extra convenience we’ll cancel your initial connecting flight so you can wait another 3 hours before boarding the plane that will (eventually) get you to your destination. No really, that’s not necessary, THANK YOU for choosing Delta!

RETURN FLIGHT

Now imagine this: a connecting flight that is ON THE WAY to your final destination?! Gee whiz pa, it’s gonna be a speedy flight back home ‘cept for the fact that the mini-jet hauling us has super-duper snug seating and I just happen to land the jackpot accommodations to get me all squashed up and kept awake for the next 3 hours by some dude who clearly should’ve just bought both seats. But once again Delta, THANK YOU for justifying those high airfare prices that obviously pale in comparison to the superior customer service and comfort you provide your patrons both on and off the ground.
