Featuring a deep cast, Crash is a quality film about race relations in the United States set in contemporary Los Angeles. Not that you need to live there to digest the films’ message & themes but certainly for those that have, or still do, it has that extra depth of detail for locals. Don Cheadle is, as always, lucent as well as other notables actors who make the most of their parts such as up-and-coming stars Michael Pena, and Thandie Newton as well as Terrence Dashon Howard, Jennifer Esposito , Larenz Tate, Sandra Bullock, Brendan Fraser, and Matt Dillion. Even Ludacris does an admirable job in his limited role. The story’s characters are beautifully interwoven while providing enough room for suspense between unfolding events.
Easily the sleeper hit of the summer which I plan to see on the big screen again soon.
FOUR STARS out of four.

Wow! What a great movie and an intresting sub-genre…Race. Have’nt seen a deep race-related film like this since “White Mans Burden” (not to say that I liked that movie). I think it’s a sleeper film because it speaks on truth. Most movie-goers tend to like fiction along with their popcorn.
