I Got In!!!

God Save the Queen!!!

After more than a week of digesting the good news I’m still awestruck that I’ve been offered placement into a Master’s program out in the United Kingdom. This was literally years in the making. The course is a yearlong program concentrating in graphic design at the London College of Communication and I’m scheduled to start 1/11/06. However, due to financial considerations I may have to postpone my enrollment until 2007, but either way I do plan to attend the school.

This is all very exciting to me, as it will open a door to traveling and living abroad as I have dreamed of doing for so many years now. And it just may prove to be the neccesary catalyst to steer my design career towards creating & sustaining more fulfilling and worthwhile projects. A HUGE SHOUT OUT goes to Susi & CPW for all of their love, support and encouragment over these past 12+ months. And a special mention goes to Andy Maniotes for his helpful insights into the LCC and for his unsolicited, but generous, recommendation.

Congratulations JAiM-bot! Make sure your hair is fully frizzed out when riding the tube, so you can get maximum exposure as an artist. And I know you’ll have plenty of sleepless nights thinking about all the Bowen busts and statues coming out here that you’ll need to pick up.
