Serenity

I checked out this kool sci-fi pseudo-western flick today after having it recommended by several people who where fans of the short lived Firefly series it was based on. I thought it was a fun, clever and engaging with lots of kool effects and sets. Even the official movie site was well done I thought.

But the real story here is how of course my movie going experiences always have to have some glitch to it: I was suppose to meet up with Chad about 15 minutes before the start time of the show over in Pleasant Hill, but I ended up being 20 minutes late with no Chad in sight. I later found out that an unhappy Chad left when the clock struck two. I really felt bad about the whole thing. I’ll treat him to a lunch during the week to try to make up for the inconvenience.
