Ego Trip’s book of Racism

This witty collection of ethnic pop-culture references is just too hillarious to past over. Sure, it may not all be politically correct but that is it’s charm. Besides, there is more truth in the banter than otherwise. It was recommended by my buddy Amy who made the passing comment “Tigger please!” which peaked my curiousity and laughter. Some topics include “Black Jesus vs. White Jesus”, “Riot On! The Best of Twentieth-Century Civil Unrest”, “Beatles’ White Album vs. Prince’s Black Album”, “10 Items Found in Every Asian Home Not Worth Stealing,” and “The True Race Adventures of the Rolling Stones” where they remind readers how the legendary rockers made a career out of jacking black music.
Some classic stuff here folks, talking honestly about issues of race in a humorous way. You can review the book here. And for a broader context of the material presented in the book, go check out this article by SF Gate concerning current counter-culture intellectualism.
