What Americans should know

While in the Discovery store I picked up a great book earlier today titled What Every American Should Know About The Rest Of The World by Melissa Rossi. The book is relevant on current events up to about 2004. It’s a jewel of a find in that it throughly breaks down the politics for each country it reviews in short and concise ways, while also illustrating the connections they have to the foreign policies of other nations. And you don’t have to read the book sequentially, you can start from any reference point while the author also manages to find a way to lighten up the mood with clever humor. I literally could not put the book down for the first few hours I had it as I was reading it non-stop. I plan to finish it over the next couple of days and then read it again. It’s that good!
