Sharpshooter

A stark reminder to political opponents: do not get into the “line of fire” of U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney’s agendas.

And it’s a good thing for 78 year-old Harry Whittington that Cheney also has an ample amount of medical staff around him at any given time (he has a bad ticker) as Cheney accidently blasted his hunting companion in the face, neck and chest with shotgun pellets during a weekend hunting trip in Texas. Apparently, Whittington didn’t announce himself properly as Cheney was aiming to unload on a covey of quail. Friendly fire they say… how foul is that?

You should have said, “How fowl is that?”

Just imagine if the Whittington died. NRA would have to change their slogan to “Guns don’t kill people, the Bush Admin kills people.”

Works on a couple of levels there.

Hey…it’s not to late. Yesterday Whittington had a minor heart attack.
Plus they waited 1 day and acted as if they were unaware of the accident.
The most secretive administration.

As a poor jewish kid with east coast roots, I shouldn’t know this. But…due to poor parental decisions, I was forced to live in a farming community near california’s capitol. Long story short, when you’re hunting and a member of your party leaves to track their kill, you stand down. Period. Whittington shouldn’t have had to say anything “to return to line”. Pure GOP spin bullshit. Cheney is not only a piss poor excuse for a man, he’s a piss poor hunter, and was piss drunk when he nearly killed his friend. Piss. Piss. Piss.
