Don Knotts

Don Knotts, R.I.P.

A comedic legend passed on today.

Originally a ventriloquist, Jesse Donald “Don” Knotts made himself famous as Barney Fife in the American sitcom The Andy Griffith Show. Probably one of the most genuinely likeable personalities in show-biz during his time.

His official website can be found here as well as a good overview of his life and career at this Don Knotts Shrine.

Monkey Nutz UNITED STATES Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0 Says:

Don Knotts was a personal favorite since childhood. I did not watch Andy Griffith, but remember him from Disney movies, and then his later cameos on Matlock where he was re-teamed with Andy.
RIP.
