Bookbinding Workshop

On Monday I started a book binding workshop here at LCC a week before my unit2 project work is all due. I never hand binded my own book before and by the second day I had did just that. The workshop tutor Terry Buckley is a master at his craft and made it all look so easy to do. But there’s sooooo much more to it, but we got the basic principles down, enough for some of my classmates to utilize the new skills to present some of their project work with.
Terry is a likeable guy, and regulary visits states at least once a year to conduct some workshops out in New York City. If anyone has the opportunity to take a workshop with him it’s well worth it and actualy a lot of fun. I hope to expand on what I learned during the workshop later in the year with my thesis work.
