250th blog post!

It’s been 17 months since I posted my first blog entry, and it’s hard to believe that so much has happened since that time. I feel like I’m just getting warmed up.

I got into this whole weblog thing kinda late but I’ve been enjoying every minute of it. I think it’s a clever way to keep in touch with family & friends, especially with all the physical distance between us these days.

Everyone knows how I like to yap, rant and be generally hyped. But I do also enjoy sharing thoughts, collaborating, listening and hearing about all the big & small happenings in other people’s lives — happy, sad, bitchy, excited, all of it. For those that give a damn, this way of communicatiing really helps me get the word out about my corner of the block.

The blog even serves as a source of design inspiration, getting me at one point to finally overhaul my website to better intergrate the overall look & feel of all the content areas. In fact, I enjoy going “under the hood” and tweaking my custom theme, as this stuff is just so flexible & kool. It also helps that I get to brush up on my CSS skills along the way too.

So. 250 down. Sky’s the limit left to go.
