Dead Man’s Chest

Once again Johnny Depp is golden as Captain Jack Sparrow in Disney’s follow up to the popular Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl is just as entertaining, if not more so, than the first film. Even the movie’s website is a nice piece of work.
The most intriguing visual effects was done with the main baddie Davey Jones (Bill Nighly) who plays a half-man, half-octopus heartbroken sea captain. Other memorable characters return from the first film along with futher character development of Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabetn Swann (Keira Knightley) among others.
All in all, I’d say it’s a worthwhile film to go check out on the big screen, especially if you can manage not to take this stuff too seriously, which to me is it’s main charm.
