Spyros of Kefalonia

Filed Under: England, The Usual Rant

Today I was invited to have dinner in celebration of Spyros birthday, a friend of my classmate Dimitri who was visiting from the Greek island of Kefalonia. A bit of confusion was going on at first since our LCC classmate is also named Sypros but soon enough we just started to call them by their maiden names to sort the mess out.
Don’t let his modest demeanor fool you as Spyros is a clever guy with a sharp wit. His deadpan humor cracks me up. After enjoying the feast along with Dimitri’s other greek friends who were also visiting, we all remarked about how old Spyros really was until the birthday cake came out and we all agreed that he didn’t look half bad for a 72 year old man.
Anyways, Happy birthday and hope to see you again sometime in the near future!
