KRAAK & SMAAK

On the recommendation of Kelly’s boyfriend Nic I went over to Shoreditch last night to check out a performance by a group hailing from the Netherlands called Kraak & Smaak and it was worth every cent! This band is really good live and their music is a great blend of rock, funk, and dance. Never heard of the group before but now I’ll be keeping a close eye on them.

The venue was good a spot too called Cargo and it was the first time I’ve been inside the place. Good arrangement within the interior along with a huge outdoor patio and a reasonably priced resturant within.

I had to regulate on a few drunken weirdo’s acting unruly from time to time, getting all up in the “personal zone” and just mouthing off stupidities in general, but otherwise a great Saturday night out on the town.

Unfortunately I forgot my camera at home and the video I tried to capture with my mobile phone came out like crap, so nothing to share. Just go check out the band if they happen to be passing through your town as you won’t be disappointed.
