I got to meet Dimitri’s parents who were in town these past couple of days. The came all the way from Greece to visit their son and make his exhibition opening last Thursday with the rest of his classmates marking the end to our master’s studies together.

Sabika cooked a fine meal back home at back at New Cross Lazy and Spyros kept the food leaving the plates just to make sure nothing was left over

Despite the fact that I don’t speak a lick of Greek and that Dimitri’s parents don’t speak English we managed to have a couple of interesting converstations none the less; even making fun of the language barrier. At one point they remarked on how I was starting to pick up faster on some greek after a couple rounds of ouzo. Very charming his parents are! Hope to see them again soon, maybe next time in Greece?!
