Master of Design

It’s official: I’m a masters of graphic design!!!!!!
Got my marks earlier today, and what a way to end the year. It’s almost unreal. Ask me as I was finishing up my BFA if I’d imagine accomplishing something like this, I would have surely told you that I could barely grasp graduating college the first time, let alone completing grad school…and from a foriegn country no less! Amazing how one’s perspective evolves.
With the 12 month odyssey now complete it’s time for me to move forward to the next chapter of things. Since the MA certifies me to teach on the collegiate level, I’m strongly considering sticking around London for a possible teaching fellowship I’ve been referred for. It’s a great opportunity that I don’t wish to pass on it if I’m awarded the position, though I won’t know for sure until sometime in January.
Eitherway, I think there’s a lot of value in staying around London for another year so that’ll be my primary focus these next few weeks in trying to secure a decent paying job here…I still got to pay off those education loans you know.
But for now, before I get wrapped up in the next round of stresses, I’m taking a few days to just relax and enjoy the moment while reflecting on a great year from start to finish. Many heartfelt thanks to everyone who’s been supportive during this time, it has meant everything.

Congratulations are in order, wow. But what’s with the International Style banner, I thought you were in London in the 2000s, not Switzerland in the 60s.

Thanks folks for the kind shout-outs. Believe it or not, the Swiss graphic art style is very big here in London, almost to a fault so maybe it rubbed off on me a little
