Westminster Abbey

After getting a late start on this super chilly day I took grandma to the famed Westminister Abbey where all the English monarchs are coronated and where dozens of famous and influential Britons are buried. Mass is still held at the cathedral as well. Unfortunately the custodians of the facility insisted on no photography indoors, so that meant whatever pics I did get were “ill advised” to aquire. Phooey.
It’s an impressive cathedral and loaded with tons of history and artifacts. I liked looking at all the flags and crests as well as few of the notable crypts. It was the first time I actually ventured inside the place, along with my grandmother and Bobby (who was late in joining us there) marking their first visit to Westminster Abbey as well. Afterwards, we just walked around Piccadilly Circus for a little bit before meeting up with Bobby’s friend Dani for dinner over in SOHO.
