I went over to Bethnal Green with Dave to check out this documentary thriller starring Forest Whitiker who was just too convincing as Ugandan General Idi Amin Dada.
The film shows how charming and jocular yet erractic and derranged Idi Amin’s was. He abused his position of power as President of Uganda littered with human rights atrosocities, ethnic persecutions and extrajudical killings during most of the 1970’s. The movie is chilling and nerve racking until the very end, you can’t help but feel empathetic for the Scottish doctor who finally begins to overcome his naviety in an attempt to flee his post as one of Idi Amin’s close advisor and health minister.
