We Believe!

Charles Barkely is really eating his words now.

OAK-Town and Bay Area brethren alike are aglow in the victory of the 8th seeded Golden State Warriors drop-kicking out of the playoffs the #1 seed (and best team during the regular season) Dallas Mavericks. Life is cold. But I’m estatic for GSW fans and for the NBA playoffs in general as this series provides a much needed jolt to the postseason. Baron Davis was a madman playing his heart out, with coach Don Nelson helping to out-wit his former club while Dirk Nowitzki & Mavs owner Mark Cuban added yet another year a frustration and dissapointment on their pro basketball résumé.

I doubt the Warriors will get past the Jazz in the next round, as Utah plays a solid fundamental game, but hey Warrior fans, after 13 years of not appearing in the playoffs and taking down the best team in the league, there’s not much to be disappointed about this season.

My only complaint is that why couldn’t the Warriors play like this when I was still living in San Francisco/Oakland area? Charles Barkely is gonna get his ass kicked by OAK-Town folks for talking trash about Golden State and the Bay Area
