B.A.D. Ride

It’s not often I get to hangout amongst a bunch of biker dudes, chat with ‘em, look at their bikes up close, and share their space, and that’s exactly what I did today when I attended the Biker’s Against Diabetes Ride with my mom and Darryl.

The main event of the festivities was a showcase of a professional troupe of Harley Davidson riders who did all sorts of clever tricks with their 600+ lbs. bikes. At one point 12 riders were on top of each other in a synchronized formation. Insane.

And of course it was really hot today, 95° F and dust blowing everywhere. Yep, that’s ‘Zona for ya.
