Reconnected

After 20+ years of not hearing a peep from Alison or her mom we finally reconnected over here on the Upper West Side just a few weeks ago. Without all the nitty-gritty details and putting her business in the street, she’s doing just great and so is her world hopping mom. It was so great to see her again and to hear what she’s been up too after all this time.
We played catch up over brunch at Le Monde and she showed me this photo of us as kids from 1982! Geez, time sure does fly, and so for prosperity’s sake we took a 2007 picture proving without doubt that I am now taller than her…finally!
But the most amazing thing is somehow after all these years she still forgives me about that whole orange juice incident.

Alison, you are still beautiful — all the best to you and your family! Gee whiz Jamie, I’m so proud that you could actually resist the temptation to take that photo without making a silly face!
P.S. I think it would be cool to see the before and after photos side by side, and I’m pretty sure Chin would love to see that too, please send us a doc like that! Thanks, Mom
