G-men beat them ‘boys!

I was delighted to see that the New York Giants finally beat the much hated Dallas Cowboys this season, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I can’t believe this is actually the first meeting of both teams in the playoffs, but the Elias Sports Bureau claims it to be true. Some Giant fans really get hyped up for these games, but I guess now that the Cowboys season is over Tony Romo has more time to spend with his girlfriend Jessica Simpson.

And, I’m sorry, but this picture of Terrell Owens fighting back tears somehow reminded me of that one-liner by Joe Cox (played by Jesse D. Goins) in the movie RoboCop: “Does it hurt? Does it hurt?”.

I can’t believe the Colts loss to the Chargers, which pretty much ruined the real SuperBowl (the AFC Championship game) against the New England Patriots, who of course won today. I suspect my friend Barbara who is a super Peyton Manning fan and a Tom Brady hater is puking somewhere in distain. Meanwhile, my other buddy Reid must be drooling over the Pats continued march towards a perfect season. *sigh* If only Reid & Barbara could meet up, then they could duke it out for bragging rights.
