The Bostics

While hanging out in Los Angeles, I had the great privilege and opportunity to meet up with Kir & Michelle earlier today and reacquaint myself with their son Brenden and also meet their daughter Elizabeth for the first time. They’re both so adorable, fun and loving kids. Brenden I could only nickname “Lil’ B.B.” and “Mr. Bren-tastic!” while the possibilities with Elizabeth seemed endless: “Liz”, “Beth”, “Liza”, “EL”, “LB”, and my personal favorite “Lizzy B”. However, Michelle made it very clear to address them by their proper first name.

Rick Grubel also came with me to chat up the Bostic klan at their new apartment in Glendale where I was fighting hard not to sneeze on the kids as I was battling off some allergies prior to our arrival. I shot some video of the kids playing, took a peek at the kool orange tree outside their kitchen window and got a face-to-face update on everything Kir & Michelle all along the way. Various Hellboy paraphernalia was in full bloom in their place (as expected) while Michelle was happy to relax and converse with other “adults” for a bit. At one point as Rick was playing with Brenden he waxed nostalgic on how nice it was to be a kid back in the day. *SIGH* I miss you all already.
