Farve Retires

A modern day legend has decided to hang it up after 17 years in the big leagues, 16 of them with the Green Bay Packers. As an icon of football Brett Farve has been a durable and exciting player to watch over the years. Although he & the Pack lost to the Giants in the NFC title game this year at Lambeau field, the organization has a good future ahead of itself and Farve has accomplished almost everything possible in the pro’s, including winning a Super Bowl championship.
It won’t be the same on Sundays without him. But I think it’s great he goes out on his terms. Thanks for the memories #4.
(And in other NFL news, Warren Sapp also called it a career today. Just incase you cared.)

Nice.
Too bad though that Tori Hunter & Johan Santana won’t be around for the Twins on opening day.
