Frosty Freeze

One of Hip-Hop’s pioneering breakdancers passed away yesterday at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.

Wayne Frost, a.k.a. “Frosty Freeze“, was a seminal contributer to the growth and evolution of hip-hop culture both here in the United States and worldwide. He joined the dance group The Rock Steady Crew in 1981 as a 2nd generation member and the rest was history. You can see him in movies such as “Wild Style,” “Beat Street”, “Flash Dance” and “Style Wars.”
