Indiana Jones 4

For the first time I will default to someone else’s movie review for a film because, honestly, I can’t see how I can add to it as it’s already spot on, so go take a read if you want the skinny on the latest Indiana Jones flick. However you should be aware that there are massive spoilers in it, ye be warned:

But in general, all I’ll say is that if you’re a fan of the other three films you’d enjoy this trip down memory lane and appreciate the movie’s swan song for what it is. Other than that, you’re not missing much if you choose not to see it as it doesn’t offer anything new and worthwhile overall to the Indy mythos. And one of the main plot device elements is just a bit strange to include in an Indy film, and another plot device is overly obvious. However, I thought Shia LaBeouf did a great acting job in the movie, and Harrison Ford was what I’d expect from a 20 years older Indy, which is nothing bad at all. In the end however, the story is thin and thus Temple of Doom is still my favorite Indy flick… long live Mola Ram!

Surprisingly better than expected. the story arc was interesting, to say the least, for an Indy film though.
