Anseo

Today I flew into Dublin to help celebrate Dave’s birthday and to take a much needed long weekend stress relief from London. After wandering around St. Stephen’s Green for a little bit I headed over to the pub Anseo where Dave was gathering his peeps for the evening. Of course he was fashionably late to his own party, but that didn’t stop the rest of us from ordering our pints and getting on with the festivities, now did it?!

Jamie Skillz and his sister Katy came out as well and it was great to catch up with them up again. Even nicer that Jamie lent me the keys to his flat just near the Guinness storehouse, where he said I could crash and have to myself for the duration of my 5 day stay.

Sweet!

I also got to meet up with Amy’s ex-pat friend Pete who’s from the mid-west but is now chilling in Dub-town. Quite an agreeable fellow he is, and hopefully we’ll get to hang out again before I skip town. That local Salsa lesson does sound interesting…
