Tube Booze Ban

Recently elected mayor of London Boris Johnson will issue a ban on public drinking on the Tube and other TfL transport services starting today at midnight today, so last night a bunch of booze-savvy protesters took the opportunity to ride the tube intelligently inebriated one last time in which I participated and observed with my buddy Matt.

It must be the hair…

It seems to be all but certain that Barack Obama will get the DNC nomination, despite Hillary Clinton’s efforts to overtake his lead in the super delegates column… either way of it, John McCain isn’t going to be POTUS come election time this November.

Client #9

Current New York Governor Eliot Spitzer has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar and most pundits agree he will likely step down from his elected post. But leave it to the NY Post to make a splash statement about the whole affair. Pun intended. ;-)

Genocide is still taking place in Darfur and even though I’m not rich, wealthy, a head of state or wield corporate influence I still wanted to use my world citizen power to try to help do something contructive to turn the tide in this despicable display of human rights violations. Will you help me?

Kurt Vonnegut

Kurt Vonnegut, R.I.P.

A literary legend passes on today, one whose work I consulted in the form of a children’s book he did to help along a project I was working on last summer during my master’s studies. He’ll truly be missed, especially by all those who look at life from a refreshingly inquisitive perspective.

I was in awe during my first trek to the UN headquaters in New York, and renewed my conviction of the vital importance of having such a forum for the nations of the world to resolve their differences and mutual concerns without resorting to violence, as well as to promote international justice.
