I’m starting a new series of entries in which every Friday morning I will post a picture I’ve taken during the week with my cell phone. I’ve actually been using my camera phone to take photos with for some time already and I think it’s time to start sharing them with the rest of the world. For now I will focus on showcasing everyday things that are either unusual or presented in unexpected juxtapositions. I’m less concerend with the technical quality of the picture itself than I am with the substance of capturing the moment at hand. But with that said I’ll try to take halfway decent pics whenever possible; no small feat with the crap RAZR phone I’m still rocking these days.

So, moving along, this week’s PPF features the New York Yankees logo on a t-shirt I saw hanging in the window of an Jewish shop on the Upper West Side… with Hebrew lettering! I had no idea the sabbath held the Bronx Bombers in such high esteem. One can only imagine the barrage of subversive, er, uhh, ahem, “banter” that can potentially be generated from wearing such a t-shirt out in public. But typographically speaking, it’s pretty kool.
